INTRO

Strong Boy Clothing are based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

We set out to make simple, stylish and hard-wearing outdoor clothing, all to be designed and made here in the UK, using only responsibly sources materials from UK based suppliers. We only use the highest quality fabrics and trims, and all our organic products are GOTS registered unless stated otherwise. We only use plastic free buttons, and our care labels are always 100% cotton. 

People are becoming increasingly aware of their impact on our world and we feel strongly that one well made shirt is equal to several cheap fast-fashion products that can't stand the test of time. Investing in well-made clothing is a necessary future and we want to be a part of that. So remember, ‘the first step is to take one’.

OUR SHIRTS

All our organic products are 100% GOTS registered cotton unless stated otherwise. We use high quality denim and 100% cotton threads to put these shirts together, along with 100% cotton labels to ensure wearer comfort. 

Our buttons are made using a British manufacturer and are environmentally friendly, being 100% plastic free. Both the buttons and cotton use eco-friendly dyes, which are as long-lasting as chemical dyes but with a much lower impact on the environment.

MANUFACTURING

Strong Boy Clothing is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. All our products are made and designed here in the UK. Our Forrester overshirt is manufactured in a UK workshop with over 135 years history in clothes making.

The workshops we use are based in Cheltenham and Bristol, keeping our production as local as possible and allowing us to guarantee high quality products. We use highly skilled craftspeople, keeping traditional clothmaking here in the UK.

We have a certain amount of stock readily available, any items purchased beyond this will be made to order. This will occasionally mean orders will take longer than the standard 10 days from purchase, we will keep you informed on this every step of the way.

SIZING & PRODUCT CARE

At Strong Boy Clothing we take product care very seriously.

All of our organic fabric is pre-washed before making our overshirts to reduce any future shrinkage while washing. We do this because conventional cotton is generally treated with chemicals to reduce shrinkage, whereas organic cotton is not.

Low heat settings and less frequent washing benefits the environment, your wallet and your conscience. Follow the recommended steps to continue our shirts eco-friendly life cycle!

Organic cotton will last many years with proper care. No bleach or harsh washing powders required.

RETURNS AND T&CS

What if your item doesn’t fit?

We think you’ll love your Strong Boy overshirt, but if you do need to exchange or return your order this needs to be done within two weeks of receiving it.

You will need to cover the cost of returning your purchase to us, unless you are exchanging or replacing your items, in which case we will cover the postage cost.

Please note that items must be returned to us in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging, where possible. Our plastic free packaging is designed to be used more than once.

We are unable to refund any items that have been washed or show any sign of wear, other than trying it on in a clean and dry environment.

Parcels that are returned to us remain your responsibility until we have received them, on which your refund will be issued. We recommend that you keep any proof of postage.

Branded products terms & conditions

All our branded (big logo?) t-shirts and other products are either made from organic or fair-trade materials, we only use responsible suppliers based in the UK. We will always be transparent about the origins of any products that aren’t made in the UK.

Our branded products are not covered by our one-year warranty, normal conditions apply.

ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

All Strong Boy clothing is covered by a one-year warranty from the first day of purchase.

It covers:

• Breakdown of workmanship
• Breakdown of materials
• Production defects

It does not cover:

• Animal damage
• Chemical damage
• Fire damage
• Water damage
• Mishandling by courier/postal services or shipping
• Alterations or fluctuations in fit
• Poor treatment of garments or disregard for care instructions
• Using garments for use other than its intended purpose

Our warranty only applies to Strong Boy Clothing products purchased via our website or other official outlets. Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
